Race Notes: The day begins at 11:00am with a 5k race along the historic Erie Canal. Runners are then treated to an after party that includes WNY's only chowder cook off contest. Chowder cook off contestants begin cooking their self proclaimed "best chowder" as early as 5am. They simmer all day long and are ready to be served to the public by 12pm. You can help us decide who makes the best chowder in WNY by becoming a "Crowd Favorite" judge. The Crowd Favorite cook off winner wins the soon to be coveted "Chowder Paddle Trophy".
