Race Notes: The 18.12 Challenge and 1/2 Marathon will welcome runners from all over the North Country and the United States to both the Watertown, NY and Sackets Harbor, NY area for an exciting race weekend. Both the 18.12 mile race and the 1/2 Marathon start in Watertown, NY and end on the historic 1812 Battlefield in Sackets Harbor, NY. Both races will start at 7:00 a.m. The course is secured for 4 hours. For the safety of all participants, runners must maintain a 14 min/ mile pace. There will be two check points along the route, runners who do not meet the time limits at these points will be asked to board the Sweeper vehicle or continue as pedestrians and not as race participants.
